A range of training packages have been developed by a short life working group of Waste Management Officers (WMO) and NHSScotland Assure, with support from Albion Training and Scottish Government.
The training covers correct waste segregation and the legislative duties of producers of waste and has been split into three areas:
- Basic Training
- Training for Clinical Staff Training
- Detailed Training for WMOs who are new to post and/or Waste Assistants
